Overview

At Dr. Sargar Heart Care and Diagnostics, we offer a full spectrum of vascular surgical services for patients with arterial and venous diseases. These procedures are designed to restore proper blood flow, prevent complications, and improve quality of life.

Led by Dr. Sayajirao Sargar, who brings expertise in both open and endovascular techniques, our vascular surgery unit combines cutting-edge technology with individualized care.

We specialize in complex surgeries involving life-threatening conditions of the major vessels:

  • Aortic Dissection Repair
Emergency or elective surgery to manage tears in the aorta’s inner wall (Type A and Type B dissections).

  • Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm Surgery
Repair or replacement of weakened and dilated segments of the aorta in the chest.

  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Repair
Surgical correction of ballooning or rupture risk in the abdominal aorta using open or endovascular techniques.

These surgeries prevent rupture, stroke, and other life-threatening complications.

Endovascular stenting is a minimally invasive alternative to open surgery for aneurysms, dissections, or blocked arteries. It involves placing a stent graft through a small groin incision under imaging guidance.

Advantages:

  • No large incisions or rib spreading

  • Faster recovery and less pain

  • Suitable for high-risk patients

Used for:

  • Aortic aneurysms (TEVAR and EVAR)

  • Iliac artery aneurysms

  • Peripheral arterial disease

When arteries are severely narrowed or blocked, bypass surgery restores circulation by redirecting blood flow through a graft.

A. Aorto-Femoral and Ileo-Femoral Bypass

  • Used in patients with aortoiliac occlusive disease

  • Grafts are placed from the abdominal aorta or iliac artery to the femoral artery

B. Femoro-Femoral and Femoro-Popliteal Bypass

  • Bypasses blockages in thigh or leg arteries

  • Improves blood flow to lower limbs and helps prevent amputation in critical limb ischemia

We provide both cosmetic and medically necessary procedures for venous disorders.

A. Laser Surgery for Varicose Veins

  • A minimally invasive, outpatient procedure

  • Uses laser energy to close defective veins

  • Fast recovery, no scars, and minimal discomfort

B. Vascular Malformation Surgeries

  • Surgical excision or embolization of abnormal blood vessel growths

  • Treats conditions like AV malformations, venous malformations, and mixed lesions

  • Especially important in complex or symptomatic cases
